The fleet at Leatherlips YC
Fleet 23 is the largest fleet at Leatherlips and one of the most active Interlake fleets in the country. We race the full Wednesday-night series, the major weekend regattas, and travel as a group to the Interlake Nationals every summer.
About the Interlake
A planing centerboard sloop designed expressly for the inland lakes of the Midwest. The largest fleet at Leatherlips.
Drawn by Francis Sweisguth in 1932 for the Inland Lake Yachting Association, the Interlake's flat run and big main make it a thrilling planing boat in a breeze. Leatherlips' Fleet 23 is one of the most active Interlake fleets nationally.
